New Focus for Pebble Hill Art Studio
Moe has recently expanded her repertoire to include a stronger focus on painting on silk. Working towards her Masters in Silk Painting, she is a member of Silk Painters International (SPIN) and recently showed her new wearable silk art at their 2012 Santa Fe Fashion Show. Still focused on nature inspired work, she is now designing mostly with hand painted silk, creating “art-to-wear” and décor art She also transformed her studio/gallery to a teaching studio/gallery and will soon offers silk painting classes to individuals and small groups.

I have two pieces accepted into this show. In the 19th century Paris, Emperor Napoleon III mandated that artists rejected by the great Salons be allowed to exhibit their work and let the public decide if it was good art. In this fine tradition, the Coast Collective will mount their 2nd Annual Salon des Refuses, a show of works rejected by other major juried shows in the area.
